Medical Assistant Certification
Our Medical Assistant Certification Program is a self-paced program designed to help students take and pass the necessary examinations to become a CCMA. For the low tuition price, students receive all course materials and access to faculty, and they also receive one pass to take the Medical Assistant Certification Exam. With both online and in-person training available, the Medical Assistant Certification Program can be tailored to the needs of all students.
This program includes all of the necessary training needed to work as a medical assistant. Students will learn how to take vitals, perform injections, deliver EKG tests, and manage patients in the office. They will be thoroughly trained on HIPAA and OSHA regulations that relate to medical care. They will also learn how to behave in a professional, effective manner, all while giving medical care with compassion and dignity. Examples of included courses are:

After finishing their training, which spans 996 hours of course instruction, students will participate in 204 hours of clinical experience to prepare them for their careers.

Medical Assistant & Phlebotomy Technician Certifications
This tiered program combines medical assistant training with phlebotomy training, with two certifications available. Students who finish the program can take the National Phlebotomy Technician and Medical Assistant exams, so they are prepared to pursue both careers. The Medical Assistant training is the full training in safety, patient care, medical care, and more. It is combined with Phlebotomy Technician training that teaches how to gather, process, and test specimens in a lab environment, including training in the proper documentation for lab specimens and how to handle hazardous waste material. This program is available online and in-person, and all students, regardless of delivery method, have live instructor support available.

The Medical Assistant Tier II program adds EKG Technician certification to the Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician certification programs. This means students complete the program with the option to sit for four different examinations. As EKG Technicians, these students are able to administer EKG tests, interpret results, and understand the anatomy and function of the heart.
